Bartleby's

There is a wealth of information, including fiction, non-fiction and poetry at Bartleby's. Click here and search for some classical author ( someone who has written books that have been around a long time and that are still good reading) that you would like to learn about http://www.bartleby.com/ .
Sometimes you will be given a little bit of a biography and then you click to go elsewhere.

There are many entries under Ghost Stories. Here is the Fall of the House of Usher http://www.bartleby.com/166/1.html .

A good thing to try is to look up an author you read at school last year.

One more example to show you the variety: a short biography of Langston Hughes.
